I shot my first assignment for www.Cleverock.com Friday night at the House of Blues in Cleveland. I shot the band Ingram Hill in the Cambridge Room at the HOB. It was incredible. I really want to do this for the rest of my life.

Friday night I went with The Speedbumps and Abby Kondas to Fedeli's in Canton, OH for a show. The Speedbumps played three sets and Abby opened the last two. I took out my camera and didn't want to shoot what I normally do.

**I really like the last photo in the bunch. I know it's not quite perfect, but it's so close. I love the front dancer. That leap is beautiful.

Otis Moss III (#44)

The Reverend Otis Moss III, pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, is the chaplain of the week at Chautauqua. Wednesday morning he gave a sermon on "dancing in the darkness" -- finding bits of hope in our most hopeless situations -- how there cannot be healing without pain -- there cannot be joy without first suffering.
