Manchester Orchestra (#113)

Manchester Orchestra playing the Budweiser Stage at Lollapalooza. It started raining right before their set, and didn't stop for about 8 hours. Friday August 7, 2009.

Gettin' Ready for Lolla (#111)

A Lollapalooza crew member ties off the middle syllable of the main gate's "Lollapalooza" inflatible sign Wednesday afternoon in Grant Park. Lollapalooza begins Friday morning and features over 100 bands over the three day festival.

Soldier's Return (#107)

Two-and-a-half year old Gabriel Danielson has tears in her eyes as she is reunited with her father, Sargent Major Douglas Danielson, 39, of the 1st Battalion, 178th Infantry Division of the Illinois Army National Gaurd. The 178th has been deyployed in Afghanistan for the past year and returned home Monday, August 3, 2009 at Soldier Field.
