Ordination (#161)
Matthew Rader kneels while one of over 80 visiting priests and deacons perform the ceremonial Laying On of Hands during his ordination into the Priesthood Saturday at the Our Lady, Queen Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo, OH. Rader, 27, attended Lima's St. Charles Borromeo Parish throughout his life and was the only candidate in the Diocese of Toledo to be ordained.

State Tennis Tournament (#160)
Lima Central Catholic senior Brandon French (center) and freshman Alex Swick leave the court Friday afternoon after losing in the first round of the Boys State Tennis Tournament in Columbus. French and Swick won their first set against Hunting Valley University School, but lost the second in a 7-point tiebreaker. University won the third set 6 - 3.

Regional Baseball: Delphos St. Johns (#159)

Headed by father Steve Mills, The Dazzling Mills Family perform juggling and other tricks, and encouraged the kids to read, set goals, and to encourage others.

Household Waste Day (#157)
Oscar Martinez, of Cincinnati, empties out household chemicals into a safe barrel while other workers of Clean Harbors Environmental gather, sort, and dispose of other household waste dropped of at the Allen County Fairgrounds Saturday. The company, based in Cincinnati, will incinerate or recycle the materials it recieves.

Bluffton May Day (#156)
It doesn't look terrible, in my opinion, but still too blown out to run in the paper. I really like this image because it isn't the classic wide-angle of all the dancers around the pole (which I did take). The girl in teal has a great expression, it's framed well, and still shows off the dance.

Early Graduation (#154)
Top: "This is for us," Candace Nathan whispers to her mother Lisa after leaning in to kiss her cheek Sunday afternoon at their downtown Lima home. Lima Senior High School, with help from Nathan's aunt and sister, held a private graduation ceremony for Nathan and her family due to her mother's failing health. Both mother and daughter teared up as they held the diploma together.

Accident (#152)
An American Township firefighter disengages the battery of a sport utility vehicle that hit a Harley Davidson motorcycle in a chain-reaction accident Friday night at Robb Avenue and Cole Street. The driver of the SUV turned in front of a car and was hit, causing her to hit the motorcycle. The motorcycle driver, 44-year-old John Druckemiller, was taken to Lime Memorial Health System with injuries to his leg.
